Here's mine, it was Petter Solberg but he went to GRC so now it's Mads Ostberg. No national bias or anything...

No that's why I just said rally drivers. All series of rally are welcome, I might not know who they are but go ahead.

Yeah, try explaining someone smashed a motorsports record by a minute and a half. Regular people just stare at you like they can't comprehend it. Even some of my car friends who aren't really into racing don't get it. It's so frustrating.

Mikko Hirvonen closely followed by Jari-Matti Latvala in the WRC, hard to pick favorites in North American rallying because there's so many fantastic people, but Chris Duplessis, Mason Moyle, Danny Grant, Troy Miller, and Ryan Wilcox are all awesome. Tracey Gardiner is like family. And I'm always gladd to see Travis Pastrana, not because of his talents but because he's such a nice guy and always ready to chat up a storm with you.

That's why I rarely talk about it in school because to them racing is NASCAR, where you just turn left for 3 hours and it's super easy. I try explaining why it's not easy but after a while when they're argument is always but you're driving in a circle I just end the conversation.

Me and my boss at my last job both agreed we did not like Nascar. I said they don't turn enough and he said they turn too much. He's a bracket racer.

I only went to the NASCAR at The Glen because I wanted to go to the Glen once more before school starts. Personally I'll stick to sports cars, rally, and vintage racing.

I respect Nascar and I will be the first to admit I love the roar of those V8s bouncing off the walls making you feel like your chest is going to cave in. I just don't enjoy it, at least not at the ovals. If they had more roadcourses I'd probably like it more but their rain delays are a tad insane.

Yeah, I love the road races but ovals are too monotonous . The cars really do sound good too but the racing isn't that great most of the time.

Oh I know. I grew up in the same town as an amateur oval. We had one of their feeder series and I just remember how loud and fast everything was when I was a little kid. It's a great experience for a kid because they're just taking in the raw sensation and not actually enjoying things like braking or passing so it's all just the same at that age.

My town has an oval too, I go every once and a while but basically growing up at Watkins Glen at the SVRA races has made sports cars just more exciting to me. I love a good local short track race but I'd rather be at a road course.
